Restaurant renovation inside historic Columbia building

Sacon completed the renovations to the popular 929 Kitchen & Bar, located in the Vista. This project, located in a historic Columbia building, involved building new seating and creating a new bar for the space.

Needs

• Demo of existing seating, bar, and restrooms
• Framing of new half wall
• Repair and replace damaged wood flooring
• Replace damaged wood sub flooring under new flooring
• Build countertop sub frame
• Install trim along condensation line for HVAC system
• Caulk kitchen and bar area for DHEC regulations
• Install new restroom and hallway floor tile
• Paint ceiling
• Install quarry tile in kitchen area
• Patch drywall
• Stain back bar cabinet
• Build and install storage shelving for hallway
• Epoxy paint restrooms and kitchen for water proofing
• Install new mirrors in restrooms
• Install toilet accessories in restrooms
• Reinstall kitchen equipment
• Reinstall bar equipment
• Build and install solid surface countertops
• Build and install new bench seating for dining area
