Stoner's Pizza Joint

This was another upfit Sacon did in the Historical Equitable Arcade Mall in Downtown Columbia. This project came with many challenges stemming from the restaurant being located on the ground floor of a two story building with office tenants above them.

These challenges consisted of building a full commercial pizza kitchen with oven hood that had to lead all the way to the roof but not disturbing the upstairs tenants. Also keeping the historical value and historical requirements from the City of Columbia we kept up with the original storefront inside and out along with plaster ceiling but added in modern and functional lighting. Installing historically matching interior steel storefront with an entrance into the mall and a second modern matching storefront leading to the outside of the mall. Exposing the original decorative panel floors and refinishing and sealing them. Also building an interior counter area with granite countertops and POS station.
